Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Quality & Compliance Engineer to join our team at our Kingscourt, Co. Cavan facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality-driven professional to take ownership of quality systems, compliance initiatives and continuous improvement programmes within a growing manufacturing business.
Please note: This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kingscourt, Co. Cavan. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
The Quality & Compliance Engineer will oversee and continuously improve the organisation's Quality Management System (QMS) while supporting regulatory and compliance activities across the business.
Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in driving quality performance, reducing non-conformances, strengthening compliance standards and developing a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

Lead the management, maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and support compliance management processes in line with ISO 37301 principles.

Coordinate and conduct internal and external audits.

Monitor and report on quality performance metrics and KPIs.

Drive implementation and development of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.

Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions relating to customer complaints, process issues and audit findings.

Collaborate with all departments to support quality and compliance objectives.

Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and quality documentation.

Analyse system performance and implement corrective and preventive actions where required.

Support Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) reduction initiatives.

Champion a strong quality culture across the shop floor and wider organisation.

Promote continuous improvement and best practice throughout the business.

Degree or qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related discipline.

Experience working within a manufacturing quality environment.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Experience conducting internal and external audits.

Working knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys or Fishbone.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Knowledge of ISO 37301 Compliance Management Systems.

Experience with SPC implementation and analysis.

Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.

Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.

Experience driving quality KPI performance and quality culture initiatives.
