The Assistant Director of Nursing duties includes but not limited to:

The Assistant Director of Nursing will support the Director of Nursing/PIC in the clinical and professional leadership of the care teams and to deliver direct resident care.

Monitor and supervise the delivery of care to residents living in Moorehall Lodge Balbriggan.
- Promote and maintain resident safety and provide quality care through respecting the privacy, dignity, and rights of the resident.

Qualifications/Experience:

Nursing Qualifications (Essential)
-
Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Essential)
-
A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience of nursing older people within the previous 6 years
-
A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area
-
Demonstrate sound knowledge and clinical nursing practice together with future trends in elder care.

Hold a post registration management qualification in health or a related field
-
A management qualification or Higher Diploma in Gerontology is desirable but not essential.

Demonstrate strong leadership skills.
