Full job description

Customer Service & Sales Coordinator

A1 Roofing is seeking an optimistic, friendly, and service-oriented professional to join our team. This position combines customer service, sales, business development, order coordination, and on-site visits.

The successful candidate will work from home and visit job sites to assess customer needs and prepare quotations. An assistant will provide administrative and coordination support, helping the coordinator stay organized and follow up efficiently with prospects and customers.

A1 Roofing receives enquiries from customers who are already interested in our services. However, we also want to grow our customer base, so the successful candidate will be expected to respond to incoming leads and proactively identify and contact new prospects.

A1 Roofing will provide training, established sales procedures, and clear operating guidelines to help the successful candidate perform the role confidently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Register new prospects received by email and phone in the CRM.
Respond promptly to incoming customer enquiries and leads.
Proactively identify and contact potential new customers.
Contact prospects and customers by phone, email, and in person.
Visit job sites to gather information and prepare accurate quotations.
Prepare and follow up on quotations.
Work toward established sales and customer-service goals.
Coordinate with the Operations team to monitor the status of customer orders.
Communicate order updates clearly and promptly to customers.
Maintain an organized follow-up schedule for prospects, quotations, and customers.
Provide friendly, professional, and solutions-focused customer service throughout the sales and project process.
Prepare and issue customer invoices.
Request customer reviews and feedback after project completion.
Work closely with the assigned assistant on administrative tasks, customer records, scheduling, and follow-ups.
Follow the company’s standard sales procedures and operating guidelines.

Qualifications

A degree in Construction Management or a related field, or relevant experience in the Construction industry.
Strong communication, customer-service, sales, and organizational skills.
Friendly, optimistic, proactive, and professional attitude.
Highly service-oriented and comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person.
Confidence in approaching and developing relationships with new prospective customers.
Ability to work independently from home and collaborate closely with the Operations team and assigned assistant.
Comfortable visiting job sites and preparing quotations.
Must have a reliable car for travelling to job sites and customer appointments.
Willingness to learn and follow the company’s established sales procedures.
Experience with CRM systems, sales support, roofing, or construction is an advantage.
