Our luxurious four-star hotel is a family run hotel renowned across the Midlands and central Ireland for hosting unforgettable weddings, providing warm hospitality and memorable experiences for our guests. Weddings and Special Events are at the heart of what we do.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a warm, professional and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our Front of House Team at Bridge House Hotel.

As the first point of contact for all our guests, you will play a key role in providing and ensuring an overall exceptional and memorable experience for all visitors and guests at our hotel.

As a receptionist, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest receives a warm, friendly and efficient service from arrival through to departure. You will work closely with all hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome all guests and visitors in a friendly, professional and engaging manner
Complete guest check-ins and check-outs
Manage guest reservations, amendments and cancellations
Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally
Respond to guests queries and promptly and efficiently
Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
Provide guests with information about the hotel and hotel facilities attractions and amenities
Handle any potential issues before they escalate when necessary
Coordinate with key stakeholders and departments regarding guest requirements such as Housekeeping, Maintenance and Food and Beverage

Key Skills & Requirements

1-year minimum previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong technical skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

Desirable Qualifications

Experience using hotel property management systems (for eg: Hotsoft)
Local knowledge of the Midlands area and visitor attractions
