Responsibilities:
· Carry out welding work to a high standard using appropriate welding processes and techniques.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal components according to project requirements.
· Operate welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
· Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality, dimensional, and safety standards.
· Perform repairs, modifications, and maintenance welding on existing equipment and structures as required.
· Follow company health and safety procedures at all times and maintain a safe working environment.
· Ensure materials, tools, and work areas are kept organised and in good condition.
· Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and other production personnel to meet deadlines and production targets.
· Report any defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements:
· Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or Welder/Fabricator in a manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment.
· Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication plans.
· Competence in TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and/or Stick/Manual Arc (SMAW) welding processes.
· Good understanding of welding symbols, measurements, and tolerances.
· Knowledge of health and safety regulations relating to welding and fabrication.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· High attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.
· Good problem-solving and practical skills.
· Reliable, punctual, and flexible in meeting operational requirements.
· Relevant welding qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
Pay: €36,605.00 per year
