Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our friendly team as DSP at our busy late bar. As a crucial part of our dynamic establishment, you'll play a key role in providing exceptional customer experiences by delivering top-notch service and creating a vibrant atmosphere for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all health and safety measures at all times.
- Welcome guests as they enter the establishment.
- Check ID.
- Check tickets.
- Manage crowds and queues
- Routine searches of patrons on entry.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
- Clean spills, and maintain a clean and tidy environment with routine security checks.
- Patrol inside and outside the venue.
- Watch people's behaviour and deal with conflict.
- Physically intervene and escort people out of the venue, if necessary.
- Deal with emergencies.
- Co-operate with Garda, first aiders and management.
3. Team Collaboration:
- Work seamlessly with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and floor staff, to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to relay orders, special requests, and any relevant information.
4. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
- Adhere to proper sanitation and hygiene practices, including handling and disposal of waste, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of staff and customers.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid PSA License covering DSP
- Prior experience in a Bar/Club or hospitality setting would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy shifts with composure.
- Flexibility to work late-night hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and a passion for delivering customer service.
