Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the gym floor and maintain a safe, welcoming training environment.
Conduct fitness assessments and provide professional exercise instruction to members.
Assist with organising, booking and delivering the club’s timetable of fitness classes.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
Build positive relationships with members through verbal communication, written correspondence and customer questionnaires.
Promote the club’s services, facilities, classes and membership options.
Respond to customer questions and complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when required.
Ensure members’ needs and expectations are met.
Assist with membership sales, marketing activities and club tours.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service throughout the club.

Qualifications and Experience

Personal Training qualification at REPs Ireland Level 3 or equivalent.
A minimum of one year’s experience working within the fitness industry.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Confident delivering fitness classes and providing gym-floor instruction.
A friendly, professional and motivated attitude.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Additional qualifications in areas such as Pilates, yoga, dance fitness, step, BoxFit or group exercise would be an advantage.
