Full job description

About the Role

Topline Doyle's is looking for a friendly, motivated and dependable person to join our sales team. The role will involve developing new business, looking after existing trade customers and building strong relationships with builders, contractors, developers and tradespeople. Previous experience in building materials, construction or sales would be desirable, but the right attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well with customers and colleagues are equally important.

Main Duties

Develop new trade business across the South East.
Look after and grow existing customer accounts.
Visit customers, construction sites and new developments.
Prepare quotations and follow them through to order.
Identify new projects and sales opportunities.
Open and develop new trade accounts.
Promote the full Topline Doyle's product range.
Work towards agreed sales and gross-profit targets.
Protect margins and manage pricing responsibly.
Keep accurate customer, project and quotation records.
Work closely with internal sales, purchasing, yard and transport teams.
Provide regular activity and opportunity updates to the Sales Manager.

Experience

Previous sales experience is desirable, but the right attitude, drive and willingness to learn are the most important qualities.
Experience in building materials, builders' merchants or construction would be an advantage.
Product training and support will be provided.
A full clean driving licence is required.
