My First Steps is a children's shoe superstore in Ennis, specialising in fitting children's shoes.
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Weekend Supervisor.
About You
This is a hands-on, customer-focused role perfect for someone who loves working with people (especially kids) and enjoys creating memorable shopping experiences.
You’re a self-starter who thrives in a busy, customer-facing environment. You have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and a natural ability to lead and motivate others.
You will be driving and delivering high standards consistently, seen in your product knowledge, customer awareness, teamwork and passion for the role and our ethos. You will have:
- Minimum Two Years Retail Experience (shoe fitting experience is an advantage but not essential)
- Experience leading a team
- A genuine passion for retail and customer service
- A proactive approach and the ability to use your own initiative
- Confidence, energy, and positivity when working with customers and the team
What's the job?
We are hiring a Retail Supervisor to join us in our independent children's shoe shop in our Ennis store for a flexible and varied role taking in most aspects of growing our brand and specialising in children’s shoes.
Working as a supervisor you should lead by example showing what great service looks like. You will guide the team to deliver high standards consistently, by bringing great energy and positivity to our store and wow-ing our customers. You'll drive store initiatives, keep communication flowing, and create a positive vibe in store.
You will:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every visit is a positive and memorable experience
- Become a trained children’s shoe fitter and share your knowledge with the team
- Support and motivate team members through on-the-job training
- Help manage daily store operations, including stock control and visual merchandising and driving team's daily objectives

Need To Know
This role is 2 - 3 days a week and will focus on weekend shifts.
Training will be provided for the right candidate.
