JOB SUMMARY

Provide a broad range of HR support and consulting services, serving as primary contact and advisor to managers and employees.

Implement Human Resources policies, partnering with business operations to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. Resolve HR-related issues.

Responsible for and serve as a liaison for most of the following areas: recruitment and employment, succession planning, talent management, labor relations, employee relations, compensation, benefits, occupational health and/or training and development.

As a strategic HR partner for the business, you will provide day to day HR support while maintaining a positive, diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support in functional areas of HR, including but not limited to, recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training, occupational health and special projects.
Responsible for the implementation of human resources policies and procedures, and their dissemination through induction, employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings.
Plan, conduct, and coordinate the development, approval and implementation of localized HR programs, and administer same in functions such as employment, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, security, and unemployment insurance and related areas.
Develop in depth knowledge of HR systems, analyse HR metrics and provide insights to drive decision making.
Coach and empower people leaders during the entire employee life cycle regarding employee relations matters and facilitate effective and proactive decision making to ensure solutions are realistic, fair, timely, consistent and transparent.
Develop, implement and administer corporate-wide HR initiatives.
May conduct research into company-wide HR practices, policies and procedures.
Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs.
May conduct termination interviews and report outcomes and issues to management.
Aligning HR strategies with business objectives, owning and being held accountable for HR results and partnering with business to understand and support needs and requirements.
Manage delivery of change programs in support of aligning strategy, people, processes and structure.
Understand the talent needs inside the organization to support business needs.
Provide oversight, supervision and direction to deliver HR programs and services designed to meet the unique needs of the functional groups.
Develop and implement training strategies including partnership with corporate learning and development team to build appropriate solutions.
Assist in building strong organizational culture.
Ensure compliance with all pertinent HR, QMS and SOX related laws and regulations.
Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.
Ensure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.
Contribute to enterprise initiatives and projects.
Create and facilitate presentations of various stakeholders to generate awareness and buy-in.

Ensures compliance with all company policies and practices in areas such as safety and all regulatory compliance.

Other responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department / position.

Job Specifications

BS/BA or equivalent.
5 years’ plus experience in employee relations/human resources.
Must be task orientated, with the ability to adjust to multiple priorities in a short period of time.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.
Ability to manage projects to successful completion.
