Full job description

We are currently hiring for two positions: Pasta Chef and Pizza Chef, to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh pasta dishes to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Italian cuisine, works well in a fast-paced environment, and can start immediately.

Key Responsibilities of Pasta Chef

Prepare and cook fresh pasta dishes consistently to a high standard
Assist with menu preparation and daily specials
Ensure all food is prepared in line with HACCP and food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times
Monitor food quality, portion control, and stock levels
Work efficiently as part of a team during busy service periods

Key Responsibilities of Pizza Chef

Preparing pizza dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
Preparing and portioning ingredients such as vegetables, meats, cheeses and herbs for pizza production.
Stretching, shaping and preparing pizza dough to the required size and thickness.
Assembling pizzas accurately according to recipes, customer orders and presentation standards.
Operating pizza ovens and cooking pizzas at the correct temperatures and times to ensure consistent quality.
Preparing and cooking other menu items, where required, according to established recipes and standards.
Monitoring food quality, freshness and portion sizes throughout service.
Labeling, dating and storing ingredients correctly and maintaining well-organized storage areas.
Maintaining adequate stock of dough, sauces, toppings and other ingredients and reporting shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, pizza ovens, utensils, equipment and kitchen areas throughout the shift.
Washing dishes, cookware and utensils and ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organized.
Following all food safety, hygiene, health and sanitation regulations and company standards.
Minimizing food waste by using ingredients efficiently and following proper storage and rotation procedures.
Working effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure orders are prepared and served promptly.
Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient working environment at all times.

Requirements

We are hiring two experienced chefs: Pasta Chef and Pizza Chef.

Proven experience as a Pasta Chef or Italian cuisine chef
Good knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene standards
Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Team player with a positive attitude
Available to start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.15-€18.00 per hour
