Full job description

Exciting Opportunity at the Central Hotel Donegal Town. (Part-Time & Full-Time)

If you love making guests feel special and want to develop and grow your career in the hospitality industry as part of our award winning team, this opportunity is perfect for you.

As a Receptionist at the Central Hotel you will be responsible for the provision of a warm welcome and coordination of many aspects of the guest stay at the hotel including the arrival experience, rooming, and departure of the guests.

Candidates should have outstanding customer service and communication skills, be a team player.

Experience is desirable but not essential.

General Duties include:

Provide a warm welcome to guest arriving at the hotel.
Register the guests and take payment for their stay.
Be able to answer any guest enquiries about our facilities and give advice on activities.
Update guest reservations accordingly in the system.
Responsible for the safety and security of guests in-house.
Responsible for the security, control and balancing of the float at the end of the shift.
Deal with all correspondences relating to reservations, customer services, and accounts, and more…

Skills Required

Excellent customer skills.
Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential.
Be able to work on your own initiative.
Be able to cope with high volumes of guests.
Be highly motivated and organised.
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Ability to problem solve.
