Full job description

At Apleona, we are always on the lookout for talented and dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Cleaning Supervisor and a Full-Time Cleaning Operative to be based in Clonmel,Co Tipperary

Shift Pattern Monday ;Please see main body of advertisement for choice of shift

Main duties and responsibilities

Work effectively and adhere to all Site Specific and Apleona Procedures and instructions
Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties
Ensure cleaning activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site.
Complete all logbooks and documentation in a timely manner as per site instructions and SOPs
In coordination with the cleaning supervisor's plan, schedule and execute cleaning activities in the relevant GMP or designated areas
Report fabric defects to the cleaning supervisor
Ensure all equipment is safe before use, and report any faults to the machinery and be aware of service requirements
Report health and safety-related issues to the supervisor with minimum delay
Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations to the supervisor with minimum delay
Undertake job-related training as and when required
Follow all gowning procedures as per site procedures and SOPs
Be able to provide excellent customer service skills, partnership approach, facilities expertise, professional demeanour, and effective solutions
Act responsibly to the natural environment and society. Show commitment to excellence, assume responsibility
Deal responsibly with capital & equipment and Promote Health and Safety
To order stocks and ensure that all storerooms are stocked in a safe and tidy manner to avoid stock loss and minimise wastage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work

Qualifications and experience

Previous experience as working as a cleaner is desirable
Experience in the use of cleaning equipment is desirable
Basic health and safety knowledge
Flexible approach to working as part of a team
Flexible, honest and reliable
