Full job description

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support our IT Project Management team.
This role involves assisting in the planning, coordination, and documentation of IT projects — including ERP, CRM, and custom application implementations — under the guidance of a Senior IT Project Manager.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a growing understanding of project management practices and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Coordinate meetings, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
Support project teams in monitoring progress and identifying risks.
Communicate updates to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
Help implement process improvements and best practices in project administration.
Perform other administrative tasks as required to ensure project success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in project coordination or administration (IT environment preferred).
Experience with or exposure to software implementation projects (ERP, CRM, or custom applications).
Familiarity with the following project documentation is highly desirable:
Project Charter
Project Management Plan
Scope Statement / Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Schedule / Gantt Chart / Milestone Plan
Risk Management Plan
Communication Plan
Quality Plan
Budget / Cost Plan / Forecasting
Change Request Form / Register
Lessons Learned Report / Project Closure Report
RAID Log
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.
Knowledge of PMI/Prince 2 or other project management processes is an advantage.
