HR Advisory Associate on a
Contract of Indefinite Duration in the
Human Resources Division.
This role is aligned with the Bank Executive Scale and the BE salary scale. New entrants will commence on Point 1 of the relevant salary scale; in this case the starting salary will be €39,871. Please click here for further information on our salary scales.
The purpose of this role is to support line managers on employee relations matters and the case management of individual cases, ranging from, probation, performance, absenteeism and grievance & disciplinary issues through internal mechanisms and potentially to external third-party arbitration. Provide support to the Specialist and/ or Manager on more complex cases. Intrinsic to the role will be minimising risk to the Bank on ER matters, review and implement appropriate HR policies that support a fulfilling place to work and drive the delivery of the Bank's Wellness agency.
Responsibilities:-
Support line management on people issues, in a confidential and sensitive manner in order to help managers deal appropriately, from a legislative and employee relations perspective.

Progress cases from commencement to case completion and deliver a consistent, knowledgeable and professional service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, absenteeism, probation, performance, dignity at work etc, to contribute to ensuring all such matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice and legislative requirements in order to mitigate risk for the bank.

Support the performance management process by providing guidance on appeals and other associated issues to contribute to supporting the integrity and effectiveness of the process.
- Support the Occupational Health Specialist with scheduling, drafting referrals and liaising with people managers to assist with the implementation of Occupational Health recommendations.

Drive and support the delivery of the Bank’s Wellness Strategy through appropriate initiatives and ensuring alignment of policies to the overall strategy so as to enhance the Bank as a fulfilling place to work.

Assist in educating HR colleagues and management in effectively implementing processes and procedures including for example Disciplinary, Grievance and Dignity at Work, including guidance on early intervention strategies to contribute to minimising any exposure to the Bank and help them develop capability and confidence in addressing issues.

Regularly review HR policies to ensure they are fit for purpose, consistent with legislative changes and in line with best practice.
Requirements:-
A HR or business degree or related discipline. CIPD qualified is desirable.

3 years' general HR experience, including experience of working with and influencing line managers and experience & understanding of HR employee relations practices.

Previous experience of working in industries which have undergone rapid change.
