Dee Hub is a Community Hub which was established in 2017 to support the provision of a vibrant community resource facility in Ardee to meet current and emerging needs of the local community. The facility provides educational facilities primarily but is also a focal point for social and recreational activities. It operates on social enterprise principles accommodating the rental of its meeting and training rooms, hot desk facilities, and enables social partners and statutory agencies to operate outreach services from its main street location in Ardee.
Dee Hub also works closely with Mid Louth Youth Service and supports the delivery of youth services and activities for young people in the local community. Mid Louth Youth Service is funded through the Education and Training Boards (ETB) and provides opportunities, supports and programmes aimed at promoting the personal, social and educational development of young people.

Overall purpose of the job:
The objective of this position is to be the main point of contact for enquiries and to provide good customer service. The administrator will be required to support the team at Dee Hub as part of the smooth-running of the business.
Key Areas of Work:
· Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
· Dealing with email enquiries
· Diary management and arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and conference facilities.
· Arranging the set-up and pack-up of each room according to bookings diary for meetings / group activities / training, etc.
· Receiving and directing visitors
· Be a main keyholder of the building.
· Assist with funding applications.
· Engage with the community and set up new projects.
· Maintain existing projects.
· Facilitate and manage group activities.
· Network and maintain good relationships with external agencies.
Office duties:
· Perform clerical duties using word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, filing, and recording minutes of meetings.
· Bookkeeping, handling cash, providing receipts, and invoices.
· General office management such as ordering stationary
· Arranging both internal and external events
· Be responsible for office projects and tasks.
· Update databases, prepare reports, monitor income and expenditure.
· Manage customer accounts.
· Provide support to existing employees and volunteers.
· Provide administrative support to the Manager.
· Assist in the production of fundraising promotional material and marketing elements of Dee Hub.
· Maintain the company’s social media accounts.
Requirements:
· Excellent IT, organisational and administrative skills
· Ability to work under pressure.
· Experience with record keeping and exceptional organisational skills.
· Good people skills
· Familiarity with Social Media
· Be highly motivated.
· Good multi-tasking skills
· Proficiency in Sage software (or equivalent accounting platform) for day-to-day financial operations.
