Role Overview
Working with our COO / Head of Business Development and the senior management team, you’ll be responsible for enhancing the existing market penetration of our MAGNUS Smart Tank Telemetry solutions across the UK market, and will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to our continued market expansion efforts in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development across greenfield markets/territories in the UK, focusing especially on developing a strong network of Channel Partnerships
- Own sales targets and revenue goals, focusing on expanding our market presence.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate key sectors.
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles from prospecting to closing, while building long-term relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to align on go-to-market strategies.
- Identify and expand into new sectors where level monitoring will be critical (e.g., Tank Manufacturers, Fuel Distributors, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Water Treatment).
- Collaborate with the Channel Partners to create annual business plans, drive quarterly performance throughout the year
- Maintain report the sales forecast pipeline for all sales opportunities and participate in weekly/ monthly sales operations meeting reviews
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and build a strong professional network.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to provide insights and contribute to strategic planning.
- Collaborate on an ongoing basis with the senior management team to help formulate / refine the sales strategy for competing in the market with agreed product / solution sets.
Qualifications Experience
- 5+ years of B2B or B2B2C Sales experience in the UK market, preferably with some experience in SaaS or telemetry solution sales.
- Previous Sales experience in specific areas such Heating Plumbing / Tank Sales Tank Telemetry systems / Fuel Managements would be a distinct advantage
- Proven track record of success in driving new business, meeting sales targets, and closing large deals.
- Expertise in developing market entry strategies and growing revenue from the ground up.
- Strong understanding of the Channel Sales Partner models and an ability to build high quality, stable and productive partnerships.
- Experience in FMCD sales ( specially electronic goods ) and E-Commerce Channel sales management would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to collaborate with various teams and adapt to a dynamic startup environment.
- Tech-savvy individual with the ability to quickly learn and demonstrate new products.
- Resilient, tenacious, and motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Fluent English is essential, ability to communicate in other European Languages would be a distinct advantage
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- This shall be UK based job role. Therefore successful applicant must already have an established the right to work and reside in the United Kingdom.
