Full job description

Martin Ryan Haulage are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/ Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Tipperary Town.

We currently have:

One 3-month fixed term contract

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse operating to BRC AA+ standards with an immediate start available.

Role Details

Full-time position – 40 hours per week
€15.50 per hour
Monday to Friday
Working hours will vary between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Possible weekend work during busy periods
Company pension scheme
On-site parking provided
Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Pick, inspect and load customer orders while adhering to strict safety and quality standards
Load and unload deliveries accurately
Check inbound paperwork and ensure all details are correct
Work closely with Warehouse Administration and Operations teams
Ensure all materials are stored and organised correctly in line with warehouse procedures and regulations
Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) effectively
Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards in line with BRC AA+ requirements
Support general warehouse operations as required

Requirements

Valid forklift licence required
1–2 years’ warehouse/forklift experience required
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual and dependable
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures

Desirable Skills & Experience

Shunting experience
Manual handling certificate
Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)
Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
