Full job description

Full-Time Dental Nurse / Receptionist

An exciting full-time opportunity is available for an experienced, flexible, motivated, and patient-focused Dental Nurse / Receptionist to join our well-established, expanding, and busy dental practice in Balbriggan. We provide a wide range of general dental treatments alongside specialist services including orthodontics, implants, and oral surgery.

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly motivated, personable, positive, and enthusiastic with a strong customer and patient focus.
Flexible, as some evening and weekend work is required.
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Experienced as a Dental Nurse (preferred), although training will be provided for the right candidate.
A team player with leadership qualities.
Organised, professional, and confident engaging in both clinical and front-of-house responsibilities in a busy practice.

The successful candidate will:

Assist the dentist with all clinical aspects of patient care.
Follow efficient surgery procedures to maximise surgery time while maintaining high clinical standards and compliance.
Deliver excellent patient care and maintain high standards of cross-infection control, equipment care, and stock management.
Provide reception cover, including welcoming patients, answering telephone and email enquiries, booking and managing appointments, processing payments, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front desk.
Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to deliver an outstanding patient experience from first contact through to completion of treatment.
