Cabra castle are recruiting for Full time Kitchen Cleaning assistant(s) / Kitchen Porter
Applicants must be available to work both mid week and weekends throughout the academic year, both morning and evening shifts.
Main duties of Kitchen cleaning assistant / kitchen porter

To ensure that the kitchen is cleaned to an acceptable standard including walls, flooring, presses, cookers, fridges etc.

To ensure that all dirty dishes, glasses, cutlery and crockery, pots and pans are cleaned
-
To ensure that the floors whenever necessary and at the end of every shift are brushed and washed thoroughly busing the correct detergent as outlined in chemical training

To ensure all health & safety policies and training are adhered to with specific emphasis on slips/trips and use of appropriate signage to warn passers-by of danger

To ensure that all spills are wiped up immediately
Requirements of Kitchen cleaning assistant / kitchen porter

Communicable level English
-
Permission to work & reside in Ireland

Attention to detail

Love of cleaning

Ability to take direction and work as part of a team

Manual handling certification is preferred but not essential

due to irregular hours, applicants must have own transport /Ability to reliably commute
