Due to continued growth, Cabins and Containers are currently recruiting for Two General Operatives to join our team and support day-to-day operations across our factory floor.
The successful candidates will work as part of a busy production team, assisting with the preparation, refurbishment and maintenance of our portable cabins and modular units.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Sanding and preparing cabins for refurbishment and finishing
- Supporting the Spray Shop Supervisor in the preparation and finishing of units
- Cleaning and preparing cabins to a high standard
- Assisting with general factory and production duties
- Working alongside and supporting our carpenters, welders and other skilled trades
- Assisting with the repair, refurbishment and preparation of units
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all company Health & Safety procedures
- Carrying out other general duties as required by the Production/Operations team
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a factory, construction, manufacturing or similar environment would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge or experience in carpentry, welding, construction or general maintenance would be beneficial
- Good practical and hands-on ability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Strong attention to detail and a positive approach to work
