Retail General Manager

Location: Victoria Casino, Cork| Job Type: Full-Time, 45 hours per week | On-Site

WHO WE ARE

Coastline Gaming is one of Ireland's most established gaming and entertainment operators, with 11 venues nationwide and a growing online presence. For over 40 years, we've been creating spaces where people come to enjoy themselves and we've built that reputation by hiring people who genuinely care about customer experience.

THE ROLE

As General Manager, you run the venue. The team, the customer experience, the cash, the standards, the weekly numbers yours. You report to our Operations Manager, with a group behind you that knows this business inside out.

Hours: Rotating schedule within operating hours, including evenings and weekends.

WHAT WE CARE ABOUT

You can build and manage a team. Hire good people, train them, hold onto them, and get consistent performance.
You've handled money. Cash-heavy operations, daily takings, variances, costs accurate under pressure.
You set the standard for customer service and your team holds it when you're not on the floor.
You keep the place right. Presentation, cleanliness, atmosphere you notice the details.

WHO IT SUITS

An experienced customer-facing retail or hospitality manager. You might be running a bookmakers, a phone shop, a cinema, a family entertainment centre, a gym, a hotel or restaurant, or a busy store right now the setting is different here, but the job is the same. We're a retail business: we trade seven days a week including evenings and weekends, and we'll expect you leading from the floor for your share of them. At least 2 years leading a team. No gaming experience needed we'll teach you the industry.

PACKAGE

Competitive salary plus performance bonus, with the make-up depending on the venue, the scope of the role and what you bring. Health insurance and private pension scheme also included.
