Job Overview
As a Student Services Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and guiding students during their time in Dublin. We operate in a highly collaborative environment, meaning your role will stay flexible and as we are a small company with responsibilities spread across the team, your tasks may change according to the requirements of all departments. Your main responsibilities will include:
Student Support: Resolving any issues and concerns that arise for students during their stay in Dublin.
Administration: Collecting and quality-checking important documents, as well as maintaining and updating our in-house database to ensure smooth information flow across teams.
Quality Assurance: Conducting regular, on-site visits to host families using public transport (to accurately check commute access for our students) to assess and maintain the highest quality of placements.
Networking & Representation: Expanding our network of clients, nurturing existing partnerships, and representing ADC College to partner schools and teachers.
Flexible Cross-Team Support: Adapting your duties fluidly to support the broader needs of the organization. You will be required to take on tasks across any department as requirements evolve.
Emergency Line: Responding to calls of the emergency line outside of standard office hours according to your rota as outlined further below.
Role Progression
We provide comprehensive training for all tasks before you are expected to perform them. Your growth in the company is structured as follows:
Expectations & Milestones
Months 1–3: Gain a thorough understanding of the core role, daily responsibilities, and internal processes. Get training on your main tasks.
Months 6–12: Transition to executing all core duties fully independently and with high proficiency. Get further training to gain a deeper understanding of your role.
12+ Months: Expand your scope by taking on additional strategic tasks, such as project management, sales renewals, and client outreach, to achieve the expected performance level for the role.

Working Hours & Logistics
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Base Hours: You are employed on a 40-hour per week basis, however, we operate a courtesy 35-hour work week. Standard hours are Monday–Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, including a one-hour lunch break.
Flexibility & Early Starts: Occasional early starts (approximately 08:00) are required on most Mondays throughout the year to accommodate student inductions. During busy weeks, you will be required to work your fully contracted hours to address student queries and support departmental needs.
On-Call Duty: To ensure our students and host families are supported in emergencies, you will participate in a rotating on-call rota (our emergency line) outside of standard office hours. This responsibility is shared across all teams and occurs every 6 to 8 weeks.
Travel: Additional travel expenses incurred during host family visits are fully reimbursed.
Location & Benefits
The role is based in our Dublin office, located in D12. Therefore, you should be able to commute on a daily basis. As students or group leaders need your presence in the office, working remotely will not be possible in most circumstances. We offer performance-based annual bonuses, sick pay, on-site parking, time off for all staff over the Christmas period into the new year, and an additional leave allowance for every year you work for ADC.
