DESCRIPTION

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. AWS Infrastructure is seeking a talented, driven, and highly analytical Brokerage Operations Manager with proven experience in driving process improvement and managing complex customs brokerage challenges.

The successful candidate will have a track record of enhancing operational efficiency and driving tangible results in a fast-paced environment.

The position is based Dublin.

Key job responsibilities

Oversee import/export brokerage operations, planning, and execution for existing programs.
Monitor and drive customs broker performance to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance across all lanes.
Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Manage trade planning and execution for new program launches.
Identify and resolve complex customs brokerage challenges to minimize shipment delays
Drive country compliance research activities with vendors
Conduct trend analyses to identify bottlenecks and develop solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience in MS Office including Excel
3+ years of direct experience in customs brokerage and/or trade compliance operations
Ability to multi-task complex and competing priorities with high quality output
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Procurement, Logistics, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Analysis, Construction, or other related fields
