What the day will look like
The ACIA is looking to hire a Business Analyst to support the development, delivery and operation of products and tools that empower Aon colleagues and clients. You will work across all stages of the product and project lifecycles to identify, design, develop, launch, deliver, operate, and continuously improve our solutions. This role will play a key part in shaping and executing the roadmap for our Analytics Platform and will involve participation in cross‑functional agile projects that span multiple teams and geographies.

Analyse and document complete business process sequences and find opportunities for optimisation and automation.

Analyse and understand business workflows and provide practical solutions for product optimisation and enhancement.

Gather, manage, define, and validate business requirements from multiple stakeholders for the development and implementation of ACIA products, tools, and analytics.

Coordinate all activities related to the deployment of new processes, tools, and platform capabilities to key internal and external stakeholders.

Support and coordinate testing activities across all phases of projects including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and downstream testing.

Support existing products and Analytics Platform capabilities, identifying and prioritising areas for continual improvement.

Work effectively with cross‑functional teams including business partners, data and analytics specialists, product owners, and technology colleagues.
How this opportunity is different
You will be joining the Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics (ACIA), working at the heart of Aon’s Analytics Platform. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with product owners, data and analytics specialists and technology teams to shape how data‑driven insights are delivered to colleagues and clients. You will have exposure to a broad range of stakeholders across regions and solution lines, and the chance to influence how products evolve over time through continuous improvement, optimisation and innovation in a truly global, agile environment.
Skills and experience that will lead to success

Experienced in analysing and documenting end‑to‑end business process flows, applying Business Analysis methodologies, methods and approaches in a practical and structured way.

Capable of translating business needs into clear, testable requirements and user stories, and developing solutions that balance business value, feasibility, risk and cost.

Adaptable to a dynamic business environment, highly organised, and committed to continuous improvement and excellence, with strong written skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable working with stakeholders and partners to prioritise requirements, manage scope and coordinate deployment and testing activities.
Qualifications / Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into requirements.

Proficiency in using standard Business Analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria).

Comfortable working with partners to prioritise requirements and manage scope.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work while contributing to team outcomes.
