Chubb Ireland Fire is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Engineer based out of our Cork office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding, and minor corrective works on a range of life safety systems including Fire Alarm & Detection, Emergency Lighting, Gas Detection, and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems. This role will cover Cork, Limerick and South Tipperary.

SALARY: Up to €65K (DoE) + On call + Overtime

Responsibilities:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits in accordance with service schedules and contractual requirements
Inspect, test, service, and maintain: Fire Alarm & Detection systems, Emergency Lighting systems, Gas Detection systems and Disabled Refuge / Emergency Voice Communication systems
Diagnose faults efficiently and undertake first-fix repairs where possible
Identify non-compliances, equipment defects, end-of-life issues, and system performance concerns, and clearly communicate findings to the customer and internal teams
Produce accurate service documentation, test records, deficiency reports, and recommendations following each visit

Being able to problem solve in a logical manner
Must be able to communicate effectively
Honesty and self-motivation is essential
