Salesforce is hiring experienced and passionate people to join our fast-growing Technical Support Team in Dublin. You’ll be the first to react when a customer needs immediate technical assistance, wrapping our customers in a cloak of friendliness while you put out their fires with a flood of technical expertise.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic technology professional with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You enjoy investigating intricate technical issues, uncovering root causes, and helping customers and colleagues understand complex concepts. You are naturally curious, proactive, and energized by solving puzzles, while also being a strong team player who contributes positively to a collaborative culture.
Language Requirements
Fluency in English and German is required
Additional European language skills are highly valued, particularly: Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French
Familiarity with infrastructure and internet technologies such as web servers, proxy servers, firewalls, and networking concepts.Candidates who speak multiple
European languages in addition to English will stand out, as our customer base is diverse and international.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and manage the complete end-to-end customer support experience.
* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex technical and business-related issues.
* Troubleshoot integrations and technical challenges involving Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and standard Salesforce functionality.
* Take ownership of customer issues through to successful resolution, coordinating with internal teams when necessary.
* Clearly communicate technical findings, recommendations, and best practices to customers and stakeholders.
* Create, maintain, and improve knowledge base articles for both internal and external audiences.
* Collaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional departments to drive continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
* Identify recurring issues and proactively contribute to process, product, and documentation improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
* Customer-focused mindset with previous customer-facing experience.
* Degree or Diploma in Computing, STEM, Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.
* Experience recognizing and escalating customer issues appropriately.
* Programming knowledge or the ability to read and understand code in one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, .NET, Perl
* Knowledge of web and internet technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, XML, APIs, and related technologies.
* Understanding of database concepts and SQL.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams, departments, and management stakeholders.
* Fluent English plus fluent French or German.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a Technical Support, Application Support, or Customer Success role.
* Additional European language proficiency.
* Experience with Salesforce and related technologies.
* Salesforce certifications.
* Trailhead experience or Trailhead Ranger status.
* CRM industry knowledge and best practices.
* Working knowledge of Apex and Visualforce.
* Understanding of multi-tenant, distributed, parallel, or grid computing architectures.
* Experience with Eclipse IDE and ANT.
