T-Pro is a global leader in Speech Technology and Administrative Workflow Management for Healthcare organisations. As we continue to expand our interoperability capabilities and strategic healthcare partnerships, we are seeking a Software Engineer to help deliver application-level connectivity between the T-Pro platform and healthcare ecosystems, with a particular focus on EPIC.
The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Integration teams to develop solutions that enable the secure exchange and use of clinical data within T-Pro. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience developing applications within the EPIC ecosystem, particularly where healthcare workflows, clinical data, and audio/voice technologies intersect.
Working alongside our specialist integration team, you will be responsible for building the application capabilities that consume, process, and expose healthcare data within T-Pro, helping to support advanced workflow automation and AI-driven healthcare solutions.

Design and develop application features that interact with EPIC and other healthcare platforms.

Consume, process, and expose clinical data within the T-Pro platform using modern APIs and healthcare interoperability standards.

Collaborate with integration engineers to implement end-to-end healthcare workflows and data exchange processes.

Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native technologies.

Support the development of AI-powered and workflow automation capabilities within the platform.

Contribute to solution design, technical documentation, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

Work closely with Product, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Experience working with EPIC at the application development level, including familiarity with the EPIC technology stack, APIs, deployment models, and healthcare workflows.

Experience with audio, voice, and speech technologies (AVT), including digital dictation, real-time audio processing, streaming, and socket-based communication, would be highly beneficial.

Strong software engineering experience using:

OAuth, API integrations, and backend workflow development

Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, particularly consuming and producing FHIR resources within application workflows.
