POSITION SUMMARY:

As the organisation continues to evolve, the HR function plays a critical role in supporting our people, culture and organisational effectiveness.
The successful candidate will provide operational leadership and direction across the HR function. Working closely with the Director of People and Culture, the role will lead the implementation of best practice HR Policy, providing advice in relation to HR support, Recruitment and Employee Relations issues. They also have responsibility for training and development of both staff and managers, and overseeing a Performance Development system for the organisation.
This is a practical, hands-on operational role requiring a highly experienced HR professional with strong generalist expertise and the ability to translate organisational priorities into effective people solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employee relations, organisational development, recruitment, performance management, workforce planning and change management within a complex and evolving environment.
As a proactive and collaborative HR leader, you will build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation, supporting managers and teams to create an inclusive, values driven culture where employees feel supported, engaged and empowered to deliver meaningful outcomes for young people.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide operational and strategic leadership across the HR function, ensuring the effective delivery of HR services, processes and initiatives that support Jigsaws strategic priorities and values.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of People and Culture to implement the People Strategy, translating strategic priorities into effective HR initiatives that support Jigsaws organisational objectives.
- Lead, support and develop members of the HR team, ensuring effective prioritisation, delivery and continuous improvement of HR operations.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative and professional relationships with Managers and employees, providing expert advice, coaching and guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle.
- Provide specialist HR advice supporting managers and employees in the effective resolution of employee relations matters in line with legislation, organisational policies and best practice.
- Lead and support workforce planning activities, using workforce data, trends and insights to identify future people requirements, inform recruitment strategies, support talent retention and succession planning, and ensure workforce capability aligns with the evolving needs of Jigsaw services.Oversee the effective delivery of recruitment and selection processes, ensuring a positive candidate experience and supporting Jigsaws ability to attract and retain high-quality talent.
- Support the development and implementation of effective performance management, learning and development and talent management approaches that enable staff to grow and succeed.
- Contribute to organisational development initiatives, including employee engagement, culture development, change management and initiatives that strengthen the employee experience.
- Review, develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and practices to ensure they remain effective, compliant and aligned with organisational needs.
- Develop and deliver meaningful HR reporting, analytics and workforce insights, using data and metrics to support evidence-based decision making, identify trends and risks, and provide regular workforce intelligence to Senior Management Team.Ensure HR systems and processes are effectively maintained and continuously enhanced to support efficient service delivery and improved employee experience.
- Work closely with colleagues across Finance, Services, Clinical and Operations teams on workforce and organisational priorities.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with external stakeholders including legal advisors, sector partners and relevant professional networks.
- Support effective communication and engagement with staff during periods of organisational change and development.
- Ensure a strong focus on equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing is embedded throughout HR practices and initiatives
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by Jigsaw to support the ongoing development of the organisation.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Essential Criteria:
- A minimum of five years HR experience, including significant experience in a Senior HRBP or HR Management role within a complex and evolving organisation.
- At least 2 years' line management or supervisory experience.
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with ith a degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Demonstrated experience across the full employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, engagement, reward and organisational change.
- Excellent working knowledge of multiple Human Resources disciplines including talent management, leadership development, performance management, engagement, resourcing, reward, employee relations and coaching.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR metrics, dashboards and workforce data to generate insights, support workforce planning and inform business decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong judgement, resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A confident decision-maker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to implement practical, commercially sound people solutions.

Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working within the not-for-profit, health, community or public service sectors.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Be able to effectively represent Jigsaw in a number of forums and working groups both nationally and internationally.
Experience building effective working relationships with external stakeholders, including statutory bodies, professional networks, representative groups, or sector partners.

The salary range for this role will be 60,196 - 87,159
