Ipsos B&A Field Supervisor - Dublin
Are you the crucial link between human stories and powerful data?
At Ipsos B&A, Ireland's leading market research company, we don't just collect data; we uncover truths that drive decisions for the world's biggest brands, government bodies, and media outlets. From shaping public policy with our political polling to guiding the strategy of major FMCG brands, our research starts with one thing: high-quality, reliable data.
We are looking for a Field Data & Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Ballsbridge. This isn't a typical admin role. You are the guardian of our data's integrity at its most critical stage—the point of collection. You'll orchestrate the entire fieldwork process, ensuring the information gathered is accurate, timely, and ready to be transformed into the game-changing insights our clients depend on.
You will be at the heart of our research engine, managing the flow of data from our nationwide team of interviewers to our data analysis departments. You'll use your sharp analytical mind, organizational skills, and exceptional communication abilities to ensure every project runs seamlessly, solving logistical puzzles and ensuring our data quality is second to none.
A Day in the Life Might Look Like:
- Orchestrating Data Collection: Strategically allocating projects to our F2F interviewing team, monitoring real-time progress, and optimizing fieldwork for efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring Data Integrity: Acting as the first line of defence by validating survey logic and structure on our core platforms (Askia, Ifield, Forsta) before they go live.
- Translating Performance into Insights: Analysing fieldwork progress and interviewer feedback to provide the core research teams with actionable updates on how a project is performing.
- Championing Quality Control: Implementing QC checks and using the results to provide constructive feedback, coaching our interviewers to maintain the highest standards.
- Managing Operational Data: Overseeing the operational and financial data related to fieldwork, including the processing of interviewer invoices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
-Collaborating for Success: Working closely with the research and data collection departments to deeply understand project requirements and anticipate challenges.

> Aoife, Senior Research Executive
>
> "Working as an interviewer can be challenging. Having a supervisor who is organized, clear, and understands the tech makes all the difference. They make sure we have everything we need to succeed, which means we can focus on having quality conversations."
> – David, Field Interviewer
What You'll Bring to the Table (The Ideal Candidate):
- A Data-Focused Mindset: You are comfortable with data, enjoy working in Excel, and have a hawk-eye for detail, understanding that small errors at the source can have a big impact.
- An Organized & Proactive Approach: You can juggle multiple data streams and projects simultaneously, naturally prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- A Natural Problem-Solver: You see challenges as puzzles to be solved and have a flexible, can-do attitude when faced with unexpected hurdles.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: You can build strong relationships and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Curiosity and a Desire to Learn: You're keen to understand the 'why' behind the research and grow your skills within a global industry leader.
- Fluent in English.
