Marketing Executive -
We are seeking a creative, organised, and results-driven Marketing Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and delivering marketing initiatives that enhance the hotel's brand, increase guest engagement, and drive revenue across all business areas, including accommodation, food and beverage, spa, weddings, conferences, and events.
This varied role offers the opportunity to manage the hotel's social media presence, create engaging digital content, support advertising and promotional campaigns, coordinate marketing collateral, and collaborate with internal departments and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for luxury hospitality, excellent communication skills, a flair for content creation, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of brand consistency and guest experience.
Marketing Executive – Key Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the hotel's rooms, restaurants, bars, spa, events, weddings, and special offers.
Manage the hotel's social media platforms by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, and responding to customer enquiries where appropriate.
Coordinate digital marketing activities, including email marketing, website content updates and online advertising in collaboration with external agencies where applicable.
Create marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, digital assets, menus, signage, and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency.
Work closely with the Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Events teams to support promotional initiatives and drive revenue.
Assist in planning and executing seasonal campaigns, product launches, and hotel events.
Develop relationships with local businesses, tourism organisations, influencers, media, and community partners to increase brand visibility.
Coordinate photography, videography, and content creation to showcase the hotel's facilities and guest experiences.
Monitor online reputation by reviewing guest feedback across review platforms and supporting reputation management initiatives.
Analyse marketing performance using website analytics, social media insights, campaign reports, and booking data, providing recommendations for improvement.
Maintain and update the hotel's website, ensuring all content, offers, images, and information are current and accurate.
Ensure all marketing activities comply with brand standards, company policies, and relevant advertising regulations.
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities and maintain competitive positioning.
Coordinate promotional partnerships with local attractions, corporate clients, and tourism bodies.
Maintain a library of marketing assets, photography, brand guidelines, and promotional materials.
Support customer database management and CRM initiatives to encourage repeat business and guest loyalty.
Attend networking events, exhibitions, trade shows, and community events to promote the hotel.
Perform any other marketing-related duties as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager or Director of Sales & Marketing.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
1 – 2 years previous marketing experience in a hospitality environment.
Must be able to communicate freely and eloquently in both written and spoken English.
Excellent time management & organisational skills are essential.
A proactive, self-starter who is able to work within a team as well as individually.
Flexibility required to work evenings where required and weekends
Strong creativity and innovation is required when implementing new concepts.
Able to work under pressure and multi-task
Excellent organisational skills and strong selling and interpersonal skills
HEALTH & SAFETY
To rigidly follow and observe all hygiene standards, rules on smoking and comply with hotel policy regarding uniform.
To fulfil your obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and any revisions or additional legislation made thereto.
Maintain knowledge of local and company hygiene, health & safety regulations.
To ensure that reasonable care is taken for health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on the premises.
To keep your work area clean, tidy and safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.
To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and have knowledge of the location of first aid boxes/fire extinguishers/alarms.
To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work.
To carry out and promote fire and accident drills as directed by the hotel safety officer.
