The Role
Our client is looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to build and grow a Platform & DevOps team while remaining actively involved in architecture and development. You'll drive the platform strategy, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and developer experience, working closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Required:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or DevOps-focused roles
- Strong hands-on development experience with .NET Core and Angular
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms, with strong AWS experience across services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related technologies
- Experience designing and managing infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, scale, and operate complex, enterprise-grade distributed systems
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and career development
- Strong security mindset with experience integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and application architecture
- Track record of improving non-functional requirements such as reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and building scalable solutions from the ground up within a startup or high-growth organization
Responsibilities:
- Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and platform services.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Drive platform reliability, security, observability, and performance.
- Develop reusable platform components and support engineering teams.
- Manage team delivery, mentoring, hiring, and cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with internal developer platforms or self-service infrastructure.
- Experience in PropTech or enterprise SaaS.
- Prior engineering lead or technical leadership experience is a plus.
Pay: €80,000.00-€90,000.00 per year
