About the Position
We have an excellent opportunity available for a Category Development Executive - to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The position lies within the UK & I business unit, based in our Dublin office. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Strategic Category Development Manager for the Irish business. The role is responsible for supporting execution of the category strategy growth plans across key retail accounts by delivering insights, performance analysis, range and innovation recommendations. You’ll partner with internal teams and retailers to identify opportunities that drive category growth while ensuring excellent execution of category plans, range reviews, and internal reporting.
In brief, you will be responsible for:
Retailer Performance & Category Analysis:
Support development of strategic relationships with retailers to establish Kraft Heinz as the partner of choice.
Support category reviews by analysing retailer, category, and brand performance data.
Developing insight-led opportunities, driven by shopper needs to be able to drive and deliver category growth.
Manage range and planogram administration, helping to optimise distribution and shelf space allocation
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of data reporting, category analysis, recommendations, retailer-facing materials
Innovation:
Assist in identifying category and shopper opportunities for product innovation
Build Category sell-in rational for Retailers in collaboration with Sales & Brand teams.
Track innovation performance to budget & recommend course correction where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or similar).
2+ years’ experience in FMCG Category Development Management, Shopper Insights, or Analytics preferred
Experience using Nielsen, Kantar, dunnhumby, Symphony AI, or retailer insight platforms.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability with experience turning data into insights.
Numerate and strategic thinking with the ability to analyse market, category data to identify key trends and recommend creative solutions.
Effective analytical, presentation, and communication skill.
Highly organised with good planning skills and the ability to work in cross functional category projects both within and outside of the company.
