Role Title: AI Platform Engineer
BU/Segment: Digital
Location: Dublin, Republic of Ireland (Flexible hybrid working)

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:
- Administer and operate the company's AI Gateway and Agent Builder platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and security.
- Serve as the company Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI Gateway and Agent Builder, acting as the primary resource for guidance, best practices, and escalations.
- Educate and enable internal teams on effective usage of the AI Gateway and Agent Builder tooling, including delivering workshops.
- Manage platform health and uptime, including on-call rotations, incident response, and root cause analysis for platform issues.
- Own updates, patches, and version upgrades for AI Gateway and Agent Builder, coordinating rollouts with minimal disruption.
- Manage vendor relationships with LiteLLM, Langfuse, and Lyzr, including support escalations, roadmap alignment, and contract coordination.
- Track and triage bugs, feature requests, and enhancement backlog items across platforms, keeping stakeholders informed of status and priorities.
- Monitor, log, and report on platform usage metrics, cost, and performance, and surface insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest developments in LLM gateway technologies, AI observability tooling, and agentic AI platforms.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to maintain compliance with company standards and best practices.
Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:
- Minimum 3–6 Years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or technical operations:
- Hands-on experience administering or operating LLM gateway or AI observability platforms (e.g. LiteLLM, Langfuse, or comparable tooling).
- Familiarity with agentic AI platforms and low-code/no-code agent builders (e.g. Lyzr AgentStudio, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar).
- Strong understanding of LLM APIs, prompt routing, cost management, and token usage optimization.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure — AWS, Azure, or GCP — including containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and DevOps practices.
- Experience managing or administering SaaS or self-hosted developer platforms in a production environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor or partner relationships, including SLA tracking and escalation handling.
Skills and Personal attributes we would like to have:
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders; comfortable delivering training and enablement sessions.
- Strong organizational skills for managing bug trackers, feature backlogs, and platform documentation.
- Proactive approach to monitoring platform health with experience using observability or APM tooling.
- Collaborative and comfortable working across distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to work productively under pressure
