Ready to take your career global?
Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to join our ever evolving Product team and help shape the future of global commerce.
What You’ll Own
Our Product Managers take a leading role in defining, designing, building and bringing to market Global Payments products and capabilities.
Working within the API Experience Team within the wider Merchant organization, the Senior Product Manager will focus on our Genius and Point-of-Sale (POS) solutions, Value-Added Services (VAS), and Integrated Partner products. The goal is to deliver a world-class integration and user experience for new and existing capabilities for our merchants, partners, and their developers.
This role is responsible for helping to shape commercially compelling solutions that drive partner growth, merchant adoption, and revenue outcomes. A primary focus is championing a "Single-In" philosophy, ensuring that the experience is unified and consistent across the entire lifecycle from the initial technical integration to deep-dive data reporting. You will translate market opportunities into prioritised, executable roadmaps that deliver reliable, scalable, and merchant-ready solutions.
What You'll Bring
Our ideal Senior Product Manager will have a background in defining, designing, and building new product capabilities, documenting them to a high standard, and bringing those features to market across all Global Payments geographic regions and business units. While experience with APIs is important, a strong background in managing a diverse product portfolio including hardware (POS), software platforms (Genius), and partner integrations is key.
Key Responsibilities
"Single-In" Integration Strategy: Drive a unified integration experience, ensuring that partners can access the full breadth of Genius POS and Integrated Partner capabilities through a single, consistent entry point to reduce friction and accelerate time-to-market.
Proposition Strategy & Management: Act as the owner for the Genius ecosystem for Single-In API, defining the vision to maintain market leadership through a standardised and repeatable partner framework.
VAS Ownership and Delivery: Own the API proposition for Value Added Services ensuring merchant and partners can benefit from services that can help grow a merchant's business.
Requirements Gathering: Create business and functional requirements for the technical delivery teams.
API Design: Dilently design product changes, within your team, to exacting standards. This may include using OAS for APIs, creating user stories, mock-ups, and step-by-step guides.
Lifecycle Management: Manage the product life cycle, from conception through to product launch and ensuring that the go-to-market needs are met.
Documentation: Proactively document changes to product capabilities for publication on internal training sites, developer portals, and within marketing collateral as required.
Agile Delivery: Work side-by-side with scrum-masters and development team leads to drive efficient and rapid delivery of product needs.
Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate communication across the organization to maintain alignment on the current product state and vision. Ensure key stakeholders are aware of impacts and prioritization required.
Vision & Strategy: Own and drive the vision for your defined set of products/capabilities (Genius, POS, VAS, Integrated Partners) to solve customer problems.
Market Analysis: Undertake market research and competitor analysis for your defined set of products/capabilities.
Performance Metrics: Managing the performance of your products in the market, ensuring the adoption by pilot customers and utilising customer feedback and product metrics to ensure your products are successful in the market.
Thought Leadership
Regional Enablement: Develop and deliver training to our Regional Product, Sales and Customer Success teams so they can best support their customers.
Best Practices: Facilitate knowledge sharing and guide Regional Product teams on product management best practices and enable these teams to reach maturity.
