This role will be a full-time position based out of our Customer site, in Dublin, a full driving license and own vehicle is highly preferred.
As a Laboratory Operative for Avantor you will be responsible for supporting the Laboratory scientists with their day-to-day tasks allowing them to focus on core science.
Working hours: Monday-Friday: Core hours

What we’re looking for
Education: High School or Equivalent is required
Experience: Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment is highly desirable. This can be general warehouse, hospitality or retail.
Additional experience: of working in a laboratory environment and Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential.
Collaboration Tool: Good IT skills required (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook) preferred

Machine & Hand wash and perform a quality check and inspection of all glassware for damages and cleanliness, ensure disposal of damaged glassware, record all details accurately

Stock up all glassware in regulated laboratories, ensuring we have the right stock levels and ordering stock in where required, including adhoc order requests

Cleaning and regular decontamination of a variety of specialist laboratory equipment

Freezer de-icing on a regular basis.

Operate all equipment in accordance with procedural documents, site, and regulatory requirements.

Maintain and update records for equipment servicing and routine experiments, along with any other relevant administrative tasks
