SEO Intern ,Paid Internship with Full-Time Progression
We are looking for a motivated and experienced SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team for a three-month paid internship.
This is a hands-on position for someone who already has practical SEO experience and wants to further develop their skills while working on live client projects. Based on performance during the internship, there may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent, full-time role.
Please note that this is not an entry-level training position. A minimum of one year of hands-on SEO experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
- Perform on-page SEO optimisation
- Create and optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings and website content
- Carry out technical SEO audits and identify website issues
- Support local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation
- Assist with link-building and off-page SEO activities
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and website performance
- Use Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other SEO tools
- Prepare monthly SEO reports
- Work with content writers, web developers and the wider marketing team
- Keep up to date with SEO trends and Google algorithm changes
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of one year of hands-on SEO experience
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page and technical SEO
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Experience conducting keyword research
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of WordPress and website content management
- Strong written English and attention to detail
- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
- A genuine interest in SEO and digital marketing
Desirable Skills
- Experience with local SEO
- Experience optimising Google Business Profiles
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience working with WordPress and Elementor
- Content writing or copywriting experience
- Experience working in a digital marketing agency
