Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.
Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.
Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

Global hiring is booming, but equity compliance across borders remains a massive headache for scaling companies, unless they use Rippling. Rippling’s EOR Equity Services program solves this complex puzzle, handling equity-related payroll, tax withholding, and country-specific filings (from UK ERS to Australia ESS) for EOR employees worldwide.
This isn't a greenfield build, the program is live, revenue-generating, and scaling fast. We are looking for a high-ownership Global Equity Program Manager to take the reins. You’ll be the primary subject matter expert globally, driving operational excellence, protecting compliance integrity, advising high-growth clients, and partnering directly with Product to automate the future of global equity.
Forget traditional stock plan administration. This role sits at the intersection of equity tax compliance, client advisory, product strategy, and GTM enablement:
-
Execution over Plan Design: We don't design cap tables. You own the critical execution layer—ensuring tax withholding, remittance, and statutory filings are flawless when equity events hit global payroll.
-
Mastering the EOR Landscape: Navigate unique global nuances where traditional rules break (e.g., ISOs defaulting to NSOs under EOR, cross-border tax treatments, and post-termination windows).
-
Product & Revenue Impact: You aren't tucked away in a back office. You will join pre-sales calls to win multi-million-dollar deals, advise executive clients, and work directly with Engineering to build automated equity workflows into Rippling's platform.
Own Global Compliance & Operations
-
Lead end-to-end operational execution for NSOs, RSUs, phantom equity, token comp, M&A cash consideration, and secondary sales.
-
Manage global filing calendars (e.g., UK ERS, Ireland RSS1, Australia ESS, Singapore IR8A) in partnership with local tax advisors and payroll providers.
-
Translate complex international tax and legal advice into scalable operational workflows.
Serve as the Executive Client Advisor
-
Act as the go-to expert for clients issuing equity to EOR workers, clearly articulating tax obligations, filing boundaries, and EOR-specific mechanics.
-
Build clear, world-class client documentation, help guides, and enablement materials.
Drive Product & Automation
-
Partner with Product & Engineering to build equity tools directly into the product roadmap—defining data requirements, validation rules, and automated workflows to reduce manual overhead.
Accelerate Growth & Build a Team
-
Join Sales and Account Management calls as the technical SME to help close key prospective deals.
-
Lead, mentor, and scale a dedicated team of Equity Operations Specialists (starting with a team of 2).
-
8+ years of hands-on experience in equity compensation administration, global tax compliance, or equity advisory.
-
Deep jurisdictional expertise: Proven mastery of global tax, payroll, and compliance rules for stock options and RSUs in at least 2 international jurisdictions.
-
Filing execution: Direct experience managing equity compliance filings in at least one key country (e.g., UK ERS, Ireland RSS1, Australia ESS, Singapore IR8A).
-
Cross-functional fluency: Ability to speak the language of Legal/Tax advisors, Product Managers, Sales reps, and C-suite client contacts.
-
Builder mindset: High comfort with ambiguity, rapid growth, and leveraging technology to replace manual processes.
-
Leadership: Demonstrated talent for mentoring, managing, or leading high-performing specialists.
-
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or equivalent.
-
Prior experience in the Employer of Record (EOR) or global payroll industry.
-
Hands-on experience with equity management platforms (Carta, Shareworks, etc.).
-
Experience supporting pre-sales or GTM efforts for complex compliance/HR services.
