Role Overview
Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) is a trillion dollar investment management firm entrusted by investors around the globe to help them navigate changing market environments, so they can confidently realise their long-term objectives.
The business is expanding and requires an experienced product manager with strong knowledge of EU domiciled pooled fund structures, product governance, and lifecycle management.
Based in Ireland and part of the Global Product team, the Senior Product Manager is responsible for the strategic development, governance, and lifecycle management of EU-domiciled pooled fund ranges. The role works closely with Investment, Distribution, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Finance teams to deliver commercially viable, well-governed products that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the lifecycle management of the pooled fund range, including fund launches, share class issuance, product enhancements, restructures, market registrations, and fund closures.

Oversee the day-to-day management of pooled fund products, ensuring product structures, documentation, and operating frameworks remain accurate, effective, and aligned with business and investor requirements.

Support market expansion initiatives through the coordination of fund registrations and implementation activities across new and existing jurisdictions.

Maintain oversight of fund budgets, expenses, and product economics, contributing to commercial decision-making and product profitability.

Coordinate regulatory filings, disclosures, and reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory obligations.

Oversee the production of fund financial statements and support ongoing product governance and oversight activities.

Act as a key partner to investment, risk, legal, compliance, operations, and distribution teams on product-related matters, including regulatory change, fund structures, and operating model enhancements.

Maintain investor-facing product content and disclosures, ensuring information remains accurate, current, and aligned with approved documentation.

Prepare and present governance papers, management reports, and board materials relating to product developments, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives.

Contribute to strategic product initiatives and change programmes that enhance the competitiveness, efficiency, and governance of the product range.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
-
Bachelor's degree required; relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications preferred.

7+ years of experience within investment management, asset management, fund management company (ManCo), or asset servicing environments.

Strong knowledge of Irish pooled fund structures, including UCITS and ideally AIFs, with experience in product management and fund lifecycle oversight.

Good understanding of the European regulatory environment, including UCITS, PRIIPs, SFDR, and MiFID II.

FA experience is highly desirable.

Strong commercial, analytical, and project management skills.

Experience working across multiple functions and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint..
