KNOW THE ROLE
The Womenswear Department in Arnotts is currently looking for enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join their team on a Full Time, Fixed Term basis.
The BTA Sales Consultant will deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience that reflects our luxury brand identity. You will act as a trusted advisor, building long-term client relationships, driving sales, and ensuring service excellence across every interaction. The successful candidate will embody the values of Brown Thomas Arnotts, demonstrating emotional intelligence, product expertise, and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating needs and tailoring recommendations to drive sales
Achieve and exceed individual and team sales and service targets
Provide expert product knowledge across multiple categories and stay informed on brand launches
Accurately process transactions, loyalty sign-ups, and returns
Collaborate with stockroom, online, and concessions to ensure seamless operations
Participate in training and coaching to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Promote adoption of digital tools (e.g., CRM, WhatsApp clienteling, stock locators)
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and data privacy
KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets while demonstrating strong product knowledge and commercial awareness
Provide expert styling and product advice with professionalism, clarity, and confidence
Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
Flexible and solutions-focused, able to manage change and remain calm under pressure
Demonstrates self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to handle customer concerns with sensitivity and professionalism
Confident using POS, CRM, WhatsApp clienteling, and stock systems to enhance the customer journey
Strong team player, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues across departments
Results-driven, proactive, and responsible for personal and team success
Acts with professionalism, fairness, and respect, embedding BTA values into all decisions and behaviours
