Your Impact
We’re looking for a talented
Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our
Engineering team. In this role, you will:

Design and develop embedded firmware solutions for next-generation security products.

Collaborate with hardware, software, and QA teams to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded systems.
-
Drive innovation by optimising embedded architectures and adopting emerging technologies.
What You’ll Do
In addition to the above, your key responsibilities will include:
-
Design, develop, and implement embedded systems and firmware for microprocessor and microcontroller-based applications.

Develop and optimise real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal embedded software.

Collaborate with hardware and QA engineers to integrate embedded solutions into product designs.

Write, maintain, and optimise efficient, well-documented code in C and C++.

Conduct testing, debugging, and validation activities to ensure system robustness and reliability.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and embedded development best practices.

Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in embedded systems, firmware development, and microprocessor technologies.
What You'll Bring
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
-
Proven experience developing embedded systems, firmware, and microprocessor/microcontroller-based solutions.
-
Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded applications.
-
Hands-on experience using hardware debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and JTAG debuggers.

Experience working with ARM Cortex-based microcontrollers and processors.
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Experience with wireless communication protocols and interfaces.

Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Desirable:-
Experience with embedded Linux, RTOS, and real-time system constraints.

Experience with PCB design and schematic review.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for embedded systems.
