Full job description

About the roles:

Due to an expanding portfolio of projects nationally, an exciting opportunity has arisen in our Civils / Infrastructure Section in the role of Civil Technologist / Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical services including design / drafting through Civil 3D and other BIM Technologies on large national infrastructure projects. The candidate can expect to work on a wide variety of projects in both the public and private sectors. Rapid career progression within an expanding team is possible for the successful candidate.

Key roles and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will also have a requirement to liaise with the internal project team, the wider design team and contractors and should therefore have good communication skills and an ability to work well in a team dynamic.

Requirements and Skills:

Motivated, hardworking team members with extensive AutoCAD and Civil 3D understanding.
Candidates must have a proficiency in Civil 3D or similar.
Candidates should ideally have some background in the creation of civil works delivery information, thorough earthworks modelling and design, and detailed design.
Be familiar with BIM models / modelling for civil engineering.
Have the ability to manage their projects and drawings with Team Leaders etc
Be versed in preparation of drawings models to a high standard in terms of presentation content.

Desired qualifications and requirements:

At least 3 to 8 years civil engineering experience
Minimum Level 6 Civil Engineering Qualification or BTech
Be collaborative and take ownership of deliverables
