Our Galway R&D centre is Ministry Brands' global AI R&D hub and is in the middle of a major expansion as we deliver a multi-year AI-native transformation of our product portfolio.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our Galway-based R&D team. As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you will contribute to building new features and solutions end-to-end, from UI to backend to deployment. You’ll work collaboratively across product, UX, and engineering to deliver high-performing, scalable applications that power our SaaS offerings.

What you'll do

Collaborate with your team to define, design, and implement innovative software solutions
Develop, test, and deploy high-quality application code in both frontend and backend components
Participate in planning and estimation sessions; contribute to solution architecture discussions
Follow best practices in CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies
Continuously improve code quality, reliability, and team delivery processes
Work across the stack: UI, APIs, services, data storage, and cloud infrastructure
Experience with PHP or Python
Engage in technical reviews, retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing sessions
Contribute to personal and team growth through experimentation and research

What You Bring

6+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack role
Strong experience with Microsoft .NET technologies:
Languages/Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework / EF Core
Web Services: RESTful APIs, XML, JSON
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases: SQL Server, Azure SQL
Experience with Azure cloud services (or AWS/GCP equivalent)
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar)
Familiarity with SDLC methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
Experience in contributing to end-to-end product lifecycle
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with Azure Pipelines, Azure Git, Visual Studio, VS Code
Experience working on cloud-native SaaS applications
Strong analytical skills and a drive for continuous improvement
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
