Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position

Technical troubleshooting expertise : Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across multiple platforms and systems
Client service orientation : Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Organisational and administrative capability : Excellent prioritisation, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
IT foundation knowledge : Qualification or demonstrated experience in Computer Science, Business Computing, or equivalent technical background; motivation to build a sustained career in IT

What type of work will I be doing?

Provide first and second level technical support to end users, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues through systematic troubleshooting and research
Log, track, and manage all incidents and service requests, ensuring timely updates and resolution within agreed service levels
Deploy new hardware, software, and peripheral equipment to end users, ensuring proper configuration and user enablement
Assist with the scheduling, coordination, and delivery of the hardware refresh program across the organisation
Support the wider IT team with escalations, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving on complex issues
Provide administrative assistance to the IT Management Team, including documentation, reporting, and process support
Contribute to continuous improvement of service desk processes and user experience through feedback and suggestions
