Role overview
We are seeking an Endpoint Security & Intune Administrator to secure and manage our customers Windows devices using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Huntress EDR. The successful candidate will enroll and configure devices, monitor endpoint security, remediate vulnerabilities, and maintain compliance with organisational security standards.
Key responsibilities
- Enroll new and existing devices into Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Configure and maintain device compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines, and endpoint security policies.
- Manage Windows devices throughout their lifecycle, including provisioning, deployment, support, retirement, and secure wiping.
- Monitor Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management for vulnerabilities, security recommendations, and device exposure.
- Prioritise and remediate operating-system and application vulnerabilities according to risk and agreed service levels.
- Coordinate patching .
- Investigate unhealthy, inactive, non-compliant, or incorrectly onboarded devices.
- Manage Microsoft Defender & Huntress Edr, firewall, attack-surface reduction rules, endpoint detection and response, and related security controls.
- Investigate endpoint alerts and work with security teams to contain and remediate threats.
- Produce reports on enrollment, compliance, patching, vulnerabilities, remediation progress, and security posture.
- Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and device-management standards.
- Support users and troubleshoot enrolment, policy, application-deployment, and access issues.
- Work with infrastructure, service-desk, and security teams to continuously improve endpoint security.
Required experience
- Practical experience administering Microsoft Intune.
- Experience onboarding and managing devices in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including device registration, Entra join, and hybrid join.
- Experience creating and troubleshooting compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines, and application deployments.
- Experience assessing, prioritising, and remediating endpoint vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of Windows security, Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, and authentication.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance vulnerability risk against operational impact.Desirable experience
- Windows Autopilot and Microsoft Intune Suite.
- Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management.
- Huntress or another SIEM platform.
- PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph automation.
- macOS, iOS, and Android device management.
- Privileged access, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles.
- Previous experience working in an IT service desk, help desk, or desktop-support role.
- Experience providing first- and second-line support in a Microsoft 365 and Windows environment.
- Confident troubleshooting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 applications, networking, printers, VPNs, and user profiles.
Pay: €35,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
