Your profile

Role Purpose
As part of our continued growth and commitment to innovation, we are creating a new Business Systems & Digital Innovation Coordinator role within the business. This is an exciting opportunity to join Rycroft at a pivotal stage as we continue to invest in technology, improve our business processes and embrace digital transformation.

Working across both our Commercial and Operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of our business systems, helping to streamline processes, improve the use of data and support the adoption of new technologies, including Microsoft 365 and AI-powered solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, identifying efficiencies and working with people to improve the way a business operates. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, from process improvement and reporting to automation and digital innovation, while developing your skills in emerging technologies.

As this is a newly created position, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help shape the role, influence how technology is used across the business and grow alongside the organisation as our digital capabilities continue to evolve.

Key Responsibilities
Business Systems & Process Improvement

Support the review and improvement of business processes across commercial and operational teams.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual administration and improve efficiencies.
Assist with the implementation of new business systems and digital solutions.
Work with departments to understand current processes and recommend practical improvements.
Support system testing, upgrades and user acceptance testing where required.
Maintain system documentation and process maps.

AI & Digital Innovation

Support the rollout and adoption of Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools.
Research emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
Assist with AI pilot projects and gather user feedback.
Promote the effective and responsible use of AI across the organisation.
Keep up to date with developments in AI and digital technology.

Data & Reporting

Assist in developing Power BI dashboards and business reports.
Support the automation of routine reporting.
Help improve data quality and consistency across business systems.
Produce reports and insights to support operational and commercial decision-making.

Microsoft 365 & Automation

Support the ongoing development of Microsoft 365 solutions.
Assist in creating Power Automate workflows to streamline administrative processes.
Support the development and maintenance of SharePoint sites and document libraries.
Assist with low-code solutions using Power Apps where appropriate.
Help maximise the effective use of Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft applications.

Training & User Support

Provide day-to-day support to users of business systems and digital tools.
Assist in delivering training sessions on Microsoft 365, AI tools and business systems.
Create user guides, process documentation and training materials.
Encourage user adoption of new technologies and promote best practice.

Skills & Experience
Essential

2–4 years' experience in a business systems, business analyst, digital solutions or process improvement role.
Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
Experience using or supporting Power BI and/or Power Automate.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
A genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.

Desirable

Experience with SharePoint administration.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools.
Experience with Power Apps.
Experience supporting system implementations or digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of process mapping or continuous improvement methodologies.

Qualifications

Third-level qualification in Business, Information Systems, Technology or a related discipline.
Relevant Microsoft certifications or Power Platform certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
