Job Overview:
Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services. Qualifies suppliers according to company standards and may administer a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness. Monitors parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicates and resolves supplier-related problems as they occur. Develops and prioritizes an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met. Evaluates suppliers’ internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback in assessment of their operation.
Responsibilities:
At this developing level, the professional applies growing expertise, established policies, and standard procedures to complete assigned work. The role involves independently identifying and resolving routine issues while seeking guidance for more complex or unfamiliar problems.
Clear and effective communication—both written and verbal—is expected, especially when explaining processes or responding to routine inquiries. The individual is responsible for organizing their own work and adapting to unplanned tasks as they arise.
This role typically includes responsibility for managing individual components or tasks within larger projects. Progress is monitored against established benchmarks for time, quality, and cost. The P2 level is designed to foster independence and problem-solving skills as the professional continues to build subject matter expertise

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and qualify suppliers in accordance with company quality standards
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues in a timely and structured manner
- Develop and execute supplier audit plans (GMP / ISO standards)
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations, providing clear feedback and improvement actions
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement on quality and capacity challenges
- Analyse data, identify risks proactively, and implement preventive measures.
- Document and present technical findings, reports, and recommendations clearly.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- 1-2 years’ experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality
- Strong knowledge of:
- Supplier audits and qualification processes
- GMP, ISO 13485 or similar quality systems
- Root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, CAPA, Fishbone, 5 Whys)
- Experience working with external suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work on complex projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
