Full job description

MTM Engineering is seeking a Document Controller to support a major Data Centre project in the Linz Area, Upper Austria. Reporting to the project and site management teams, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and controlled project documentation to support project delivery, compliance, and communication. This role plays a key part in ensuring that technical, commercial, and quality documentation is properly managed and readily accessible to internal teams and external stakeholders. The position can be undertaken locally in the Linz Area on a standard working arrangement or on a 3/1 rotation for candidates based elsewhere within the EU.

Responsibilities

Maintain and manage project-related documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, contracts, and meeting records
Ensure all project documents are accurately filed, controlled, and readily accessible to authorised users
Upload, track, and maintain project records within internal and client document management systems
Coordinate the distribution of project documentation and ensure updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders
Monitor document revisions to ensure teams are working from the latest approved information
Ensure documentation complies with company procedures, client requirements, and regulatory standards
Prepare reports, records, and administrative documentation as required
Collaborate with project teams and site administration personnel to maintain document accuracy and consistency
Provide documentation support to facilitate project workflows and decision-makin

Requirements

Previous experience in a Document Controller role within construction, engineering or similar environment
Proficiency in Document Management Systems and Microsoft Excex
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
Ability to work either locally in the Linz Area, Upper Austria, or on a 3/1 rotational basis from elsewhere within the EU
Valid EU passport required
