Full job description

The Central Bank of Ireland serves the public interest by safeguarding monetary and financial stability and by working to ensure that the financial system operates in the best interests of consumers and the wider economy.

We currently have a vacancy for a People Operations Administrator on a contract of indefinite duration in the Human Resources Division. This role is aligned with the Bank Officer (BO) grade, and the BO salary scale applies. New entrants will commence on Point 1 of the relevant salary scale; in this case the starting salary will be €35,046. Please click here for further information on our salary scales.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for providing professional advice and timely responses to queries within agreed Service Level Agreements which arise within the People Operations function to contribute to providing a positive customer experience. Also to process HR transactional / operational requirements in line with all policy and legislative requirements to provide a consistent service and to mitigate risk and protect the Bank.

Responsibilities:

Provide timely, accurate and complete responses to operational queries within agreed Service Level Agreements which arise within the HR Support function in order to provide a positive customer experience
Process transactional / HR operational requirements in line with policy and legislative requirements in order to provide a consistent service and to mitigate risk and protect the bank.
Ensure accuracy and proficiency in all tasks and identify and drive the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives so as to maximize efficiencies, customer experience and automation
Manage HR system issues to resolution with external 3rd party provider to ensure service delivery targets are met and enhanced.
Keep abreast of legislation and policy changes as they occur and proactively identify changes to policies and procedures to ensure the Bank remains in line with best practice and legislative requirements

Requirements:

A HR or business diploma or related discipline. CIPD qualified is desirable
2 years+ HR Administration/ other relevant administration experience, including experience of working in a shared services or self-service environment for HR operational processes
Good understanding of current Irish Employment legislation and ability to proactively apply and advise on HR policy and processes
Experience and knowledge of HR Systems and Reporting - practical knowledge and experience of CORE HR would be a distinct advantage
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with strong advanced MS Excel skills. Technically savvy and able to interrogate data and processes for ways to improve efficiency
