Fallon & Byrne is Dublin’s premier food destination and home to our bustling Food Hall, Wine Cellar, Dining Room and Ballroom. The Security Guard will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment • Discreetly observe for signs of theft / stock loss

Act lawfully in direct defense of property

Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences

Report in detail any suspicious incidents

Regularly patrol and survey the building

• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates • Watch alarm systems or video cameras

Close the building at night and complete necessary security checks

The Person

Previous experience as a security guard, a static PSA licence and ideally a Door Supervisor PSA licence.

Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to detect any suspicious activities.

Be discrete in dealing with any suspicious activities.

Be a good communicator who is able to work effectively with other areas of the business.

A trustworthy and honest individual.

Very flexible - hours of work will vary and the business is open 7 days a week from 8am to 3am, depending on the day.
